potter Ayako Hayashi (Atelier At Home Works)

1995 Started as a potter at the Atelier Hikosen.
1997 Received instruction from Mr. Tetsurou Mori.
2000 Delivered pottery courses at Musashinoceramics school
in Kichijoji, (Tokyo) for ten years
2010 Opened an atelier, At Home Works, and set it up in Kamakura

A texture reminding us of oil paint,
A painting’s touch, that gives the feeling of a copperplate engraving,
A shape like a natural wave, which brings you a sense of relief

Dishing up, eating, finishing to eat, washing the dishes, piling up the plates.
By picturing these various scenes, we create ceramics that are in linked with the daily life.
